The Robin Hood Tavern, at The Avenue, Second Road, Pattaya, Thailand. This is a great place to pop in or meet up for some Good Grub and a Beer or just a Snack and a Coffee. Easy for Car Parking or Baht Buses along Second Road or an easy hop from Soi Buakhaow.
The Avenue is an open Mall which rambles round an open central area which fronts onto Second Road, with a fair assortment of outlets, one of which is the Robin Hood Tavern.
They are on the first floor with a large and well laid out bar area, seating about 90 and there is an outside seating area along one side with tables and chairs overlooking the front of the Mall and Second Road. It is wheelchair friendly as are the Mall toilets
The Robin Hood is very much a “Sports Bar” and there are at least 10 good sized Screens distributed around the Bar. There is also a separate function room with a very large Wall Sized TV Screen!
There is a fully renovated full size 9ft pool table which is free to use for customers.
There is a good sized function Room with a massive wall sized screen, which can be set up to be used for a variety of functions. The room can be hired, or used without cost depending on its use. It can comfortably seat 50 and even more for a freestanding event.
There are escalators and lifts to get up to the first floor so stairs are not a problem. Car Parking is availiable and is covered, but you must bring your Parking Ticket to get it zapped when you pay your bill.
Did I mention Beer ?? Well they have a goodly selection of Draft Beers for all tastes!
There is a good selection of food on the menu to cover most tastes, from Breakfasts to Steaks and everything in between with Salads, Sandwiches, Snacks and Thai Food. There is a popular Sunday Roast which comes in a variety of ways, either carvery or plated and Kids are catered for, from the Sunday Carvery or from the Main Menu.
There is access behind The Avenue from Soi Buakhaow down Soi 15 going past The Hideaway.
There are a variety of outlets in The Avenue including a Major Cineplex Cinema, Bowling Alley, Gymn, a Thai Passport Office and a Villa Supermarket as well as the usual McDonald’s and Starbucks.
Been to this place twice, got to say it was a good experience
