Laong’s Bistro and Cocktails, Second Road, Jomtien, Thailand.

Laong's Bistro Sign. From outside.

This is a really nice place to pop in for some posh nosh or a good coffee and a cake. Run by a very nice man called Robert who hails from Scotland and has been doing a good job there for just over three years.

I have been here numerous times and it has never failed to hit the spot. They produce Thai, Fusion and International Cuisine.

I guess the most visits are for coffee and cake. Always something to tempt increasing my waistline!

On my last visit I had a burger and it was really good, and then it turned out to be a record breaking one, as by the time I finished it I had spent £1950 quid! But to be fair, that was not for the burger it was for a new Boiler for my house back in Blighty! Hopefully you will see a picture of a burger here but not the wallet offending one! Because of the Boiler transactions going on my phone was busy so I forgot to photograph it. I will try and pop back for another Burger and this time try to snap it before I scoff it .

A good Burger, Hand made Chips, and sides
Popped Back and Had Another Burger. Just as good and without a New Boiler this time!
Eggs Benedict Bacon
Mmmm Eggs Benedict with Bacon!

They have changed their opening hours and now run from 13.00 to 23.00 from Monday to Saturday

They have an excellent website which is worth a look where you can browse order and make reservations and find their location. Well worth a look from this link. There is also an extensive and affordable wine list which changes dynamically.

Laong's Boutique showing two Mannequeins. Will become a Cocktail Bar .
Boutique will become a Cocktail Lounge, first two customers are there already.

There is a small Boutique on the side which, as I write, Robert is planning to change into a cocktail lounge. As you can see above the first two customers are waiting patently for it to open, so no pressure there then! If you are as impatient as the two girls then I suggest you pop in and ask Robert when the new ” Boutique Cocktail Lounge will be open!
